The Lodge, Stable Loft, & Cottages

Rustic with modern conveniences describes the beautiful and cozy interiors of the accommodations offered at Moultrie Meadows.  The lodging was all designed to enjoy the exterior views –providing great expansions of glass as well as large decks overlooking the river.  In addition to beautifully appointed bedroom/living room guest suites, the Cottages and Stable Loft also offer bathrooms with Jacuzzis, kitchens, and washer/dryer provisions.

The Main Lodge

The Main Lodge is the owner’s residence and serves as the central gathering spot for delicious meals, games, warm conversation, and frequent “movie nights” in the media room. Featuring a two-story great room with walk-in fireplace that opens onto a sweeping vista of glass offering incredible views of the Flint River and overlooking a long deck paralleling the river and a tranquil river walk. 

The Stable Loft

Connected to the Stable by a breezeway leading into the hayloft overlooking the horse stalls, the Loft sits high above the riding arena on the front side and the river, cottages, and the garden on the back side, providing a bird’s eye view of everything!  The LOFT offers two guest suites, appropriately named WESTERN and ENGLISH to reflect the different types of riding guests may choose.

Cottages

Sitting along the banks of the Flint River, the two cottages – named WOODS and WATER- sit high along a ledge overlooking the river and a boardwalk connecting the two cottages to each other and to the main lodge in back.  Each cottage includes two bedroom suites.  Beautiful views and warm, cozy spaces make it hard to ever leave the interiors to explore the outside.
